A beautiful message of promise and assurance. Loved the way you connected it to the promises of Christ’s presence through the Eucharist. A great comfort to me at this particular time in my life.
Helen,
I’m so glad this song was able to bring you some measure of comfort. I don’t know all the details, but I understand you’re facing some painful challenges. You and your husband are in my prayers. May you find time to simply sit, and may grace and peace rest upon you.

Pastor Steve, this song first touched me deeply when I found your ROLLC near Riverside. It filled my heart and brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it, as did most any song we sang during the services I attended there. I played your cd until I finally loaned it to a dear friend (who summarily lost it)!
So, when I found this streaming link, the song again found great meaning for me when I learned yesterday that my sister Suzanne (formerly a CLC member, too) has been diagnosed with a rare & extremely aggressive form of uterine cancer. But she, like you, has great hope in the message of this song – she says, “Don’t throw dirt on me yet!” when I started crying at the news of the requisite surgery that may impede her attending her daughter Krista’s wedding September 1st.
Thank you for your understanding, discernment, and your compassion.
Lovely.
